Clinical Cardiology and Clinical Trials

My early training was in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, and I maintain an active interest in hemodynamics, angiography, and the natural history of cardiac disease. Over the past two decades, I have been increasingly involved in Clinical Trials where I was PI at Yale for the early TIMI trials. I have served on Data and Safety Monitoring or Endpoint Committees on a number of National Clinical Trials including BHAT, PHS, SOLVD, CASS, EAST, LCAS, PACT, RESTORE, CONVINCE, PREVENT, AMISTAD II, OCTAVE, TNT, HART and PEARL.
